Overview
The liquid ammonia as the raw material is used in the ammonia dissociator device. After vaporization, the ammonia gas is heated to a certain temperature. This device is composed of the disociated furnace body, reaction furnace tube, heat exchanger, vaporizer, water cooler, purifier and so on.
Ammonia decomposition hydrogenation device is a combination device designed and made according to the basic principle of ammonia decomposition reaction.
It is the most economical way to use hydrogen gas to protect the atmosphere
Principle
The liquid ammonia is heated to 800~850°C. Under the action of nickel catalyst, the ammonia is decomposed and a mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen containing 75%H2 and 25%N2 can be obtained.
The whole process is endothermic reaction, raise the temperature of dissociated ammonia, and at the same time it is expanding reaction volume, reduce the pressure for ammonia decomposition.
